Fresh Seafood & Frozen Fish: Codfathers receives deliveries six days a week usually twice a day so our fish is always fresh. Also where possible we ship fish whole and cut in store, which is very important for maintaining quality during shipping, and is a policy that sets us apart from our competitors. We stock only wild salmon at Codfathers, and monitor fisheries information regularly as part of our ethical trading policy.During the closed season for Salmon, we use top quality frozen at sea product direct from fishermen, which has been flash frozen and 'glazed' whole, enabling us to cut fillets in store which are of the same quality as the day they were caught!

We stock the largest variety of fresh seafood anywhere in the interior of BC including fish from both coasts, the mid and south Pacific, the Caribbean and our exclusive supply from the Queen Charlotte Islands.

Our staff are all enthusiastic and knowledgeable about seafood and are always happy to help with cooking tips and advice.

At Codfathers we stock a large range of frozen products and can also advise you on the best methods for home freezing including what to buy and when to buy it.

FRESH FISH

Wherever possible, all of our fresh fish is received whole and cut in store for maximum freshness, a policy which sets us apart from our competitors! If you like you can order whole fish from us and have your order cut and vacuum packed for the freezer at no extra charge, which is a very economical way of buying fish in bulk.
